Immediately after treatment, your skin will be red and may be a little tnder, much like a mild sun burn. This should subside within a few hours. You may shower or bathe, but do not aggressively rub your skin. Do not tan, and avoid the sun for the next several weeks. |

The laser works best on fair-skinned people with dark hair. Those with dark skin can be treated, but may require more sessions. Those with dark tans, or those who have recently been tanning, should wait until they are not longer tanned. |

Stay out of the Sun. Hair should be shaven within a day or two before treatment. Do not pluck, wax or use depilatories prior to treatment, as this removes the hair from the follicle. |

After treatment, the skin may appear bruised, depending upon the power used. The more power used, the more bruised the skin will be, and the quicker the lesions will resolve. The bruising will gradually disappear within 7 to 10 days. Some blistering may also occur at higher powers. |

Very little post-treatment care is required. Keep the area out of the Sun. You may wash, but not scrub, the treated area. Makeup may be applied within a few hours. |
